I put this here because it is a full OS not only that but, it is more of a project also it's not just a regular OS. It is made for home theater PCs, media center computers, and set-top boxes. You can make a media center computer that connects to your HDTV and streams all kinds of web content and I'm sure you could hook up your cable/dish and record TV with the right video card and setup.
Not only that but you can control it from an Android phone!
