Ok, the OS will be XP, and im running a 24/7 minecraft server. which one of these is the best one?

Processor won't matter a lot, but you need more than 2GB of RAM.

In the OP, I'd go with the 3.0 GHz Pentium D Optiplex. It comes with a hard drive, and has an onboard video chip. The RAM in that one is also better, but it's still absolutely terrible RAM.
That board can't handle DDR3, which is really what you should be using to run a server.

ok. but im going to leave both of them stock (besides adding a hard drive, which i already have) and your telling me the Optiplex is better? how much better because the PowerEdge is cheeper? also, it will be running either Ubuntu or XP, probably XP. Plan on ording my choice within the next 5 hours
