Ok when I try to open certain programs for some reason it doesn't open at all and I have to try and open it again and when I do it opens but it opens two of them and I have waited for over 5 minutes before for it to open before I try again... so my programs won't open unless I try twice and then it opens two. Is there something to fix this I haven't messed with anything so I don't know what caused it...

hmm.... try cleaning it up, like check for registry errors and maybe do a defrag. it could just be XP going bad....
