Maaan... I failed another math test. I've probably got an F now, maybe a D if I'm lucky. I've never gotten any worse than a C before. I can't even begin to imagine what my parents will do...
I hate to blame the teacher, but I did wonderful in math last year (Pretty solid B, went up to an A a couple times), and this year, I'm doing terrible. I haven't changed anything. I still do my homework, study, do my classwork, etc.
It's the worst feeling in the world knowing you've got an hour and 20 minutes to do a test, and you end up staring at it for about an hour and 10 minutes. The other 10 minutes were me writing the first couple answers (or, what I think were the first couple of answers). I don't remember learning how to expand things like (x-5)^2, I don't remember how to go from vertex form to standard. I don't remember how to complete the square.
Then in Science we pretty much take notes, study, take a test, over and over and over. The taking notes part is dreadful. You just copy down the teacher's PowerPoint slide show into your notebook.
Is it any coincidence that all my classes I have bad grades in are on the same day? (At my school we have A Days and B Days. On A Days, we have periods 1, 3, 5, and 7; on B Days, 2, 4, 6, 8.) Band is the only class I like on A Days, the rest (Japanese, Math, Science) are awful.
